Certificate Course in Construction Claims
Overview
Formulation and drafting of claims in construction projects needs understanding of contractual clauses, legal entitlements, quantification methodologies and understanding of delay analysis techniques. This program will impart project managers, contract managers and QS with the knowledge and skills of working out entitlement, drafting and presentation of claims with special reference to FIDIC contracts. We will adopt Case Study based approach that brings theory to life. Delegates are provided with structured case studies, which will direct them to share their answers with their fellow delegates within the peer group and web class sessions.

This modular course will equip Planning Engineers, Project Managers, Contract Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Civil Engineers, Commercial Managers, with a brief overview and skills to quantify delay, determine causation, and assess responsibility and financial consequences for delay. This training is primarily intended for professionals, ideally with 5 to 10+ years of experience. This course is designed to improve knowledge and skills of working out entitlement, drafting and presentation of claims with special reference to FIDIC contracts.
